![]() ![]() The main difference between the G402 and the G502 is the absence of a weight system in the G402, so you can't adjust the device’s weight to one's liking. Using Logitech's own inbuilt IPS benchmark test, I was only able to get up to 40-ish IPS even as I frantically moved the Hyperion Fury mouse back and forth into a blur on my mousemat. However, the Hyperion Fury does have its own excessively unnecessary feature in the form of its super fast sensor that can track up to 500 IPS (inches per second). Compared to the G502 Proteus Core's ridiculously high 12000 dpi sensor, the Hyperion Fury may appear tame in comparison. Professional players may snub their noses at the Hyperion Fury's measly 4000 dpi sensor but for most enthusiast and everyday gamers, that's plenty enough for games. It also comes with a 4000 DPI optical sensor paired with what Logitech calls its Fusion Engine, which is powered by a 32-bit ARM processor for precision tracking. ![]()
